Meluca Group is a trusted waste management provider operating throughout West Gippsland. We’re currently looking for a skilled and experienced Heavy Vehicle Truck Driver to join our team full-time. Based out of Bunyip/Drouin, this role involves driving both skip and hook trucks across residential, commercial, and construction sites – including many with tight or restricted access.
What We’re Looking For
We need someone who takes pride in safe, efficient driving and delivering great customer service. You’ll be an experienced operator who’s confident navigating tight driveways and complex job sites.
Essential Requirements:
- Valid HR licence (minimum)
- Proven experience operating skip and/or hook trucks
- Must have experience driving in tight access conditions
- Strong awareness of NHVR compliance and road safety regulations
- Experienced at daily vehicle Pre-Start checks
- Clean driving record and excellent truck driving skills
- Able to work independently and excellent communicator
- Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks where required
- Must have a reliable vehicle to travel to the Bunyip and/or Drouin depots each morning
Bonus if you also have:
- Experience in a similar waste industry role
- Mechanical awareness or ability to troubleshoot minor issues on-site
- High standard of customer service and professionalism
