Meluca Group is a trusted and growing provider of civil construction services across Victoria and New South Wales. We are currently seeking an Experienced Laser Bucket Operator to join our team and help deliver high-quality results on a range of site development projects.
About the Role
This full-time role requires operating laser-guided and GPS-equipped bucket equipment for precision earthworks. You’ll travel between sites in VIC and NSW, working closely with project teams to ensure all work is carried out to exact specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Operate laser bucket equipment for trimming, levelling, and detailed earthworks

Use GPS and laser systems to ensure accuracy in line with site plans

Calibrate and troubleshoot guidance systems as needed

Carry out pre-starts and routine equipment maintenance

Maintain safety, efficiency, and quality on all job sites

Work independently and with a team across changing project locations

Travel regularly between Victoria and New South Wales (accommodation provided if required)
What We’re Looking For

Proven experience operating laser bucket equipment in civil construction

Strong knowledge of GPS and laser guidance systems

Ability to interpret site set-outs and work to fine tolerances

White Card (Construction Induction)
-
Relevant plant operating tickets/licences
-
Current driver’s licence (HR or HC licence highly regarded)

Reliable, self-motivated, and proactive
-
Willingness to travel and stay away for work when required
