Meluca Group is a locally owned and operated business delivering civil construction services across Victoria. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Operator with proven ability operating excavators, bulldozers, and bobcats on a variety of civil projects.
About the Role
This full-time role is suited to a hands-on, safety-conscious operator with strong practical experience and a proactive work ethic. You will be responsible for the safe and effective operation of a range of machinery on civil construction sites throughout Victoria.

Key Responsibilities

Operate excavators, dozers, and bobcats to complete earthworks and site preparation

Conduct daily pre-start checks and routine equipment maintenance

Follow site instructions and work plans to meet job specifications and timelines

Load and move materials safely and efficiently

Maintain a clean and safe work environment on all job sites

Work independently or as part of a small site team

Travel to various sites across Victoria (occasional overnight stays may be required)
What We’re Looking For
-
Proven experience operating excavators, bulldozers, and bobcats
-
Hold all relevant plant operating licences/tickets
-
White Card (Construction Induction)
-
Current driver’s licence (HR or HC licence highly regarded)

Strong understanding of workplace safety and machine operation procedures

Ability to work efficiently and take initiative on-site

Good communication and teamwork skills
